BattPit CANADA – Warranty Policy

BattPit CANADA warrants that all products sold are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, beginning from the date of delivery.

Note: This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from BattPit CANADA and is valid within Canada.

1. Warranty Coverage

BattPit CANADA warrants that all products sold are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, beginning from the date of delivery.

2. 30-Day Return & Exchange Policy

Within 30 days from the invoice date, customers may request:

  • A refund, or
  • A one-to-one exchange

Conditions

  • A valid original invoice is required (PayPal confirmation or BattPit CANADA order confirmation).
  • Products must be returned in proper condition.
  • Broken or removed warranty seals void all warranties and returns.
  • BattPit CANADA reserves the right to charge a 15% restocking fee for returned items.
It is the customer’s responsibility to retain all purchase invoices.

3. Warranty Service (30 Days – 1 Year)

After the initial 30-day period and up to one (1) year from delivery, BattPit CANADA will, at its discretion:

  • Repair, or
  • Replace the defective product with a new or refurbished unit of equal performance

Requirements

  • All warranty returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  • Products must be securely packed to maintain warranty eligibility.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

4. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Reduced battery capacity due to normal usage
  • Cosmetic damage
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, improper installation/storage, unauthorized repairs/modifications, electrical issues/power surges, or acts of nature (fire, flood, force majeure)
  • Use of non-BattPit parts or accessories

5. Rechargeable Battery Warranty

Rechargeable batteries are consumable products.

Covered

  • Battery will not charge at all
  • Abnormal failure confirmed by BattPit CANADA testing

Not Covered

  • Reduced runtime or capacity loss
  • Inability to reach original charging capacity

Rechargeable batteries typically support 400–1000 charge cycles, depending on usage. Capacity degradation over time is considered normal and is not a defect.

6. RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Procedure

Step 1
Request an RMA
Complete the RMA request form and email it to support@battpit.ca. You will be notified within 1 to 3 business day if your return qualifies.
Step 2
Ship the product
Include the RMA form and original invoice. Ship within 7 days of RMA approval. Use Canada Post for Canadian customers. Shipping must be prepaid. Clearly mark the RMA number on the package.
Step 3
Inspection & resolution
Returned items are tested by our technicians. If defective, a replacement will be issued. If no defect is found, return shipping costs apply.

7. Advanced / Pro Series Batteries (If Applicable)

Certain BattPit batteries may include extended coverage (up to 2 years or a specified charge cycle limit, whichever comes first). Where applicable, warranty terms will be stated on the product page.

8. Data & Liability Disclaimer

Before returning any product, customers must back up all data and remove personal or confidential information. BattPit CANADA is not responsible for data loss, software issues, or reinstallation/restoration of programs.

9. Limitations of Liability

This warranty is the exclusive remedy for defective products. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BattPit CANADA disclaims all implied warranties not expressly stated, and any implied warranties are limited to the duration of this warranty.
